Min’nan Food Week at Babaili Restaurant
Celebrate Lunar New Year through food with a special Min’nan-style dining experience, showcasing flavours from Xiamen and the Fujian region
From the 22nd of February, Babaili will present traditional dishes from the Min’Nan – a southern coastal region in the Fujian Province of China – to highlight the culinary heritage of Xiamen and Fujian. The collaboration aims to promote the longstanding sister city relationship between Wellington and Xiamen by fostering cultural
exchange and strengthening community connections through food as part of Lunar New Year celebrations.
